But Serena and her family are also Bel-Tygeon’s enemies, and he must conceal his true name and royal rank from them—even when he realizes that Serena is the woman he has sought for years. The woman he loves. The woman he longs to proclaim as his queen. Yet she can never be his. Serena of Clan Darom wants nothing more than to protect her family and to save her people, the Eosyths, from their many enemies. She cannot afford to fall in love with a madman. A stranger. Yet honor dictates that she must shelter Ty and protect him with her life. Will one act of kindness destroy everything she’s worked for and believed? And how can the unknowable Infinite, worshiped by her lord-father, ever help her in their struggle to survive? Child of Dust, are you My servant?

About the Author
R. J. Larson is the author of numerous devotionals and is suspected of eating chocolate and potato chips for lunch while writing. She lives in Colorado with her husband and their two sons. The Books of the Infinite series marks her debut in the fantasy genre. "Larson makes the fantasy genre thrilling even for readers who wouldn't normally venture into mystical realms. Though the battles waged resemble tales from the Old Testament, there is no preaching here, merely a compelling story of good versus evil in which good is sure to triumph." --Booklist

A Royal Delight
By Cam
You know that feeling when you pick up a book and know without a doubt that you're going to love it before you ever crack it open? That's how I felt when this one arrived in my mailbox. R.J. Larson is one of my absolute favorites, able to create an alternate universe that feels so real that you imagine you might be able to step inside.
Following this series from the very beginning, I have fallen in love with every character in turn. Ty was easy to cheer for, because I was already engrossed in his story when he was Bel-Tygeon the god-king. The manner in which he grew into a man who humbled himself and felt remorse for his past actions was beautifully written and realistic. Serena was likewise easy to love, as a fierce protector of her people and her family.
Coming back to this series almost felt like revisiting old friends. At one point, Akabe was mentioned, and I had to wistfully look at the ceiling and remember how much I loved that character. Such a wonderful allegory based on Biblical events, and I am imagining scores of other Biblical heroes Larson could invite into this imaginary land. Well done, as always, and I'm once again reminded why this author sits atop my "always read" list.

Great!
By Audrey
And Araine and Bel-Tygeon's story comes to a resolution here. I loved the whole Infinite series back with Ela and now with Araine. I was waiting for the longest time for the release of this book. And I was so excited to see it available.
Bel-Tygeon's conversion was something I was looking forward to and as I was reading I can see the similarities in my own journey. I really liked seeing such an amazing transformation and it's so similar to those who find Christ after rejecting Him for so long. His attitude changed and even some of the moments where his "old self" comes out he struggles and tries to bring it back to His relationship with Infinite, Bel-Tygeon has really changed from a proud, deluded man to a humble and transformed man due to Infinite's love. I personally was encouraged and inspired when Bel-Tygeon he was able to marvel and praise Infinite for the mercy he had received when past sins and actions came back.
Unlike the other books we don't really hear the Infinite's voice as much but he works in the background and is always there to answer when a character asks Him. But I enjoyed that Bel-Tygeon or other characters would plead or praise Infinite through the difficult times even though there was no actual answer like we saw so much with Ela. It made me want to praise God and remember the mercy I was given.
Overall it was a great book and I enjoyed the journey I've had with the characters. I'm rating it 4 because of the kindle book, its format was really different and inconvenient and I can't even read it on my cloud reader online, had to read through my iPad app. I'm not sure if that's due to the formatting or what..Also I did find one (just one) mistake for grammer...generation was generatio. I do wish more of Infinite's voice could play out but other than that it was great! It was really enjoyable. I recommend this series for anyone looking for a good Christian fiction
If there's another book that follows I know I'll be anticipating it for sure.

The author has done a great job of writing a thrilling non stop fantasy novel. The characters Ty (Bel-Tygeon and Serena are well written and strong characters. Hope to red the first book soon.
