Have you ever known fear and doubted yourself? Know try having a physical injury that adds to this effect. Sallie has selflessly invited us into a snapshot of her painful journey to healing while also show us how our joys in life can lead to our healing. Sallie's joy was Esco the horse that was there when the injury happened and her support and challenge while she heals. An amazing journey that she still faces...she is determined and I recommend this book to all who see "no" in their life and so desperately seek "yes" - Vonda

A story of grace and love

Honest, raw, emotional and life changing, this book will change your outlook on life and the struggles we all face. Sallie's amazing journey from independence to dependence and relearning life skills is a must read and her continuing triumphs give hope to all. From an accident on Esco's back to regaining her memories and relationships while riding this same horse, Sallie demonstrates incredible grace and perseverance, despite multiple misdiagnoses and constant pain. It's not a story of an accident; instead it's a story of love, family and instinctively surrounding yourself with those who are vested in your success. Sallie, Mike, Chayce and, of course, Osinski will capture your imagination and heart. Keep riding this stride, Sallie, it's the only one that counts.

Hard to put down, eloquent, graceful, compassionate, honest in its pain yet ending in true hope and victory, a story for anyone who has ever struggled to overcome, or IS struggling now. Hopefully it's an eye opener to the medical community about how head injuries are handled.
