A $6 Blog Post

For almost the same price as a real productivity book, Pearson gives an incredibly short book rehashing the basic principles of having a capture system, prioritizing and doing. Though a pastor writing (and writing well, to give credit where it is due), ostensibly, for pastors, there is nothing specific about how to apply these principles to ministry; instead, there are a few sycophantic comments about how pastors need to be productive because we are busy. How do I productively balance writing, studying, sermon preparation, visiting, evangelism and community engagement? After reading this book, I still don't know.
As a Productivity Handbook, this book has no more utility than a blog post with a lightly annotated list of suggested apps. The "Pastor" branding is a hook with no line. Very disappointing.
